Ms. Lam has over 25 years of finance and accounting experience in the financial services industry. She is primarily responsible for preparation of the management company financials and review of Fund & General Partner financials, in addition to review of the annual audit and tax returns, among other responsibilities.
Van Lam is the Fund Controller at Lightspring Capital Partners. Prior to joining the firm, Van was the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Compliance Officer at Merit Capital Partners since 1999. Before Merit, Van was an Associate at Heller Financial, Inc., a middle-market finance company, working in their Corporate Finance group. Prior to joining Heller in 1997, she worked at Arthur Andersen L.L.P. in their Audit and Business Advisory group.
Van is a C.P.A. and received her B.S. in Accountancy from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
