Ms. Grosz has over twenty years of diverse financial experience. She is a Co-founder and Partner of Lightspring Capital GP, LLC. Her responsibilities include deal sourcing, execution, portfolio monitoring, marketing, investor relations and operations.

She most recently spent seven years as a Managing Director at Marquette Capital Partners (an SBIC Debenture Leverage Fund) and was responsible for business development, origination, execution and monitoring of a portfolio of subordinated debt and equity investments in lower middle market companies. Ms. Grosz led 4 investments totaling $23 million in subordinated debt and equity in Marquette Capital Fund II. Ms. Grosz also led fundraising activities for the firm’s second fund, and had portfolio oversight responsibilities for multiple companies in the firm’s first fund including restructurings and exits. She served on multiple boards during her tenure at Marquette Capital Partners.

Prior to joining Marquette Capital Partners, Ms. Grosz was a Director for Baker Tilly and Ernst & Young. She led over 50 small business transactions from a wide range of industries for private equity, mezzanine and strategic small business transactions.

Prior to public accounting, Ms. Grosz was a Vice President of Research for a $5 billion hedge fund, Chilton Investment Company. During her tenure, she worked directly on the equity investment of approximately $3 billion under management.

Prior to Chilton, Ms. Grosz spent seven years as a Senior Equity Analyst at the Investment Bank of Wachovia. She provided Sector and company analysis, including recommendations to large institutional investors and IPOs.

She received her MBA from DePaul University and her BA from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. Ms. Grosz is also a CPA.
